Interested in being a BVT Director?
All our directors are volunteers, who retire automatically every 7 years if not before. This year we are saying farewell to 2 Directors. Jill Gillard has been with us for 7 years, in addition to BVT, Jill has represented us on the Board of Harlaw Hydro. Jill has been involved with Balerno Gardeners, has headed up the Friends of Marchbank Park and been a valued volunteer at the Farmers Market.
Fiona Harvie has also been with the Village Trust for 7 years as a Director. Fiona headed up our Playpark Improvement Project alongside Jen Reay and has volunteered at the Farmers Market. We will miss them both and their good advice and support.
Being a director is a great way of getting involved in the community and getting to know people too. We meet once a month, usually on a Wednesday evening and there’s usually coffee and cake too! If you are interested please do drop us an email on hello@balernovt.org.uk for an informal chat.
